The Proposed JHS Building is envisioned to become a modern, innovative and inspiring building that has the feel and presence of Ateneo’s character as an institution and the visual identity of the existing campus. The architecture is characterized by simple and strong vertical elements accentuated by inclined planes. The combination of forms is reminiscent of row of books with tilted books at the end of the row, creating a dynamic and rhythmic interplay of vertical lines, terracotta bricks and concrete volume.
